Mesh Bike Tracks

I ride on this one bike mesh track which causes my bike to frequently bounce around violently as I increase my speed and causes my bike to get snagged up in some cases tosses me off the track.

I've only experience it on that one bike track so far. Other tracks I ride on I have no problem at all, I get a very smooth ride.

Anyone have any thoughts what might be causing the rough ride?

Likely bad physics. Most likely not "you" :D.

Yes. I don't suppose you want a looooong detailed explanation but there is a trick to making physics for mesh roads and for soem reason Linden Lab never got around to document it. Unfortunately there are a few holes in the official mesh documentation and this is one of them.

Changing the physics type to convex hull should fix it. It's not ideal since it will also cause your vehicle to hover slightly above the road rather than touch it but usualy that's not a big issue, it's not as if we have anything resembling precise surface tracking for SL vehicles anyway.
