You might not have noticed the fix announcements though as it was mainly refered to as a fix for DJ's tracklist boards not showing the band and song title for the DJ in their clubs, which was apparently seen as the big issue! Poor poor DJ's having to manually type "and next up is 'SL Club Lag Blues' by Lastnamer and the Whiners", drew far more attention than "oh they closed some of those media IP hack exploits".
