You don't need anything but media on the prim to click and browse and search and do everything. Nothing special needed. When I put URL to the texture, then there is only one video-song. Nobody want to dance only by one song. It must contain playlist. Youtube have playlists. Im not sure, do this URL in texture is able to play also playlist. And how I browse then and search from youtube? Today I just searched Youtube TV-s on Marketplace. There are lots of them. I visited shops in inworld and none of them wasnt worked. All was just fraud. Its just the website, using a prim as a browser. I just did it with a playlist i have, plays through and swaps to the next. You can even login and grab playlists youhave created. Prim shows whole youtube site and only small window in it where youtube video played. The same as in computer browser. Usually I click it to be full-screen when I watch video. But in SL there is even more strange to show video together with youtube website. Its completely useless feature. And how to click next or backward. Perhaps your only option is finding someone willing to steal the videos off you tube, host them indefinitely and pay to multicast them for you..best of luck with that. It works perfectly well. No idea what you are doing wrong. Perhaps its an issue with the viewer you use or the region your on...no clue. But i can assure you creating a prim, setting the media to http://www.yoututbe.com allows you to click and browse and navigagte the site as if you were on your computer.
