Hello,

I’m new to SL and wanted a mesh avatar to match my actual appearance. I’m black, tall & athetic 22 yo.

There doesn’t seem to be anything available. Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

I think mesh could help you... you can edit bento heads in facial features adn well there are several athletic mesh bodies around... it just cosst a lot and is a pain to configure but you can do really nice stuff with bento heads.

A body by Signature, either Gianni for more muscles or Geralt for a slim look, a head of your choice and a skin from Stray Dog, for example... that should get you going lookwise.

Well, there are plenty of skins stores out there that offer their skins in a variety of shades. Stray Dog, as mentioned, is one.

And for an athletic body, it depends a bit on how you use your sliders, but Signature's Gianni has been the go-to for the guys who want an athletic, masculine body - Geralt, as mentioned, is more athletic. Swimmer was a word @Skell Dagger used for it, which I'd say appears accurate.
