Bekks Heartsong
As a (new) region owner... My region is divided into four equal parcels. Is it possible for me to give one parcel more prim than the other three? If so, how can I do this?
Hintswen Guardian
I believe this is what you are looking for: https://community.secondlife.com/knowledgebase/english/managing-your-parcel-r49/#Section__3_2 Edited April 21, 2018 by Hintswen Guardian
Callum Meriman
No, one parcel can't have more, it's a set number of prims per square meter. So, for more prims it would need more land attached. If you have done a water channel between the parcels you can put that in the same group as the one you want extra prims on, and it will get that allocation. Qie Niangao
The Object Bonus applies to the whole region, so the way the sim is currently divided that would inflate the available prims on all four equal-sized parcels, three of which dare not use their allotment or the sim will exceed its hard limit on Land Impact. Usually it would be safer to carve out areas from the three lesser-Land Impact parcels and attach them to the one parcel that's supposed to have more, as Callum suggests. The other option is to carve out more space and create a fifth parcel that gets very few or no prims at all, so all four parcels can all have an Object Bonus. I'm too lazy to derive a formula for how much land would need to be confiscated from the parcels to support an Object Bonus that allots a desired ratio of LI, but it shouldn't be that difficult if that's the approach taken.
