Missing Inventory items returned.

I know there have been lots of discussion about missing inventory, but this is different. I have a various and numerous items disappear during the time I have been in SL, but recently something new happened. I use Firestorm, and suddenly everything (actually i don't know if it is everything but a lot) has suddenly came back. Items I have been without for months maybe even years, suddenly I have again. Just curious, did Firestorm, or LL do something to fix some problem? And have other noticed this as well?

Hard to say what happened.
Most "missing" inventory is caused by a borked viewer cache & it's not really missing at the back end.
Each viewer has a separate local inventory cache stored on your computer.
If your missing inventory was never fixed by a cache clear & was  missing on more then one viewer or on multiple computers then it's possible LL did some back end inventory maintenance that fixed it.
