The Theme is "H2O = Water but H2+O –> Fire"

What does this mean? It is in two parts. The first we all know, that H2O represents WATER. But...the second part is not a chemical formula; rather it is an attempt to describe the process of combustion that results in FIRE. Both utilize hydrogen and oxygen, but manifest in different ways.

This free one-weekend event will officially open with a walk-on by the Lamplighters at 10:00am SLT on March 24th, with camp builds remaining available for exploration during the following week (03/26 through 04/01).

Our canvas, as always, is the playa (a flat-floored desert basin).

You will experience art, music and community. Drive an Art Car. Groove to the tunes emanating from the Stage. Marvel at and experience the creative builds scattered throughout the playa.

Who are we?

BURN2 is an extension of the Burning Man festival and community into the world of Second Life. It is an officially sanctioned Burning Man Regional, the only virtual world Regional out of more than 100 Regional groups worldwide, and the only Regional to burn the Man!

This unique virtual Regional spreads the culture and Ten Principles of Burning Man year-round in Second Life, culminating in an annual major festival of community, art and fire in the fall -- a virtual echo of Burning Man itself.
