Purchasing Mainland owned by Governor

Hi...I own a quarter sim mainland. There is a parcel similarly sized that abutts mine that is owned by lindens. I am interested in buying that. How do I get that done. Can anyone help me? Thanks...Jenn

Abandoned land is eventually put up for auction.

Look for the name of your sim. Good luck!

OH, if that parcel you;re interested in isn;t showing up, submit a ticket and ask that it be put up for auction.

And every now and then, you can get LL to sell it to you directly, rather than going through the auction.  Always worth an ask in the ticket requesting it go to auction.

My group owns a parcel that borders three sides of an abandoned parcel, and I (as a group) want to buy just one part of this abandoned land. I put in a ticket but because my group own the land, and not me, I don't know if I will have that strong claim for direct sale.

LL knows who owns groups.  They don't always want to break up parcels though.  It might work.
