firestorm is unable to run because your video card drivers did not install properly, are out of date

Question

Posted (edited)

Hi guys,

I just reinstalled a fresh copy of windows 10 on my laptop (asus ROG GL553VE) I installed all the manufacturer's drivers (including the Nvidia Video Card) when i try to run FireStorm with my Nvidia Card. It gives me this :

https://gyazo.com/74c36cc62ecf4d87e2da4f248f22eab0

My Drivers are up to date 100%. I installed them 7 times already :))

My Nvidia Driver Version :

https://gyazo.com/845eabe556c581ce643028aed127731f

The Laptop has 2 video cards (Intel and Nvidia).

I Can run Firestorm with no problem on Intel Card. I have this problem only on the Nvidia Video Card.

If someone has any suggestions ... I'll be most grateful

I try running as administrator, compatibility versions, installing different drivers, installing older versions of firestorm, etc ...

I don't know what else i can do ... PLEASE HELP !  :D

Thanks you

I looked at the Firestorm Wiki, and there are a couple of entries regarding Nvidia issues, but neither one seems to really apply to your problem.  I would ask this question in the Firestorm in-world support group, they have the Experts.  Unless Whirly Fizzle is up late reading this.

Make sure you have the NVIDIA control panel set for PERFORMANCE and not Power Saving.

On WIn10 you right-click on the Desktop and select NVIDIA Control Panel. Then set up Program Settings for the SL Viewer. See http://blog.nalates.net/2016/06/05/nvidia-settings-2016/

If the laptop does not recognize the SL viewer app it may switch you to the HD Graphics and lower system settings to save power. AI is just wonderful...
