iKaela
Well, I just recently returned to Second Life on a new account after a long break, and now I have no idea how to change my appearance / clothes after reinstalling it. I mean, I can change my appearance, but I have to choose from a bunch of people. Plus, the side bar is missing..I am so lost. D:Here is how it looks. Charolotte Caxton
Your in basic mode. Log out and in the login screen, under mode, choose advanced instead of basic.
Kai Heideman
You need to run SL in "Advanced Mode", You can select that on the start-page.

Myth Valeska
What happened to the sliders in adjusting our Avi's? And I am in advanced mode, but I still don't see how to do that??
Charolotte Caxton
To get the sliders that adjust your physical characteristics, right click on yourself and choose Edit My Shape. If you have a no mod shape, you will not be able to do this. If your shape is modifiable, you will have sliders that allow you to adjust your characters appearance. Canoro Philipp
recommendation: be careful using third party viewers, the developers of phoenix have a record of comitting crimes using their users and collecting their information without their knowledge. for a more secure experience, use Linden Lab official viewer.
