Tranquillity Health Care Clinic is a new Clinic/Health Care Centre on it's way to being ready to open. We estimate Mid January latest. We provide full service RP NP Medical Care within SL (like a local NP Clinic in RL as an example). We will be starting interviews next year mid January, a Notecard will be sent out to applicants for their interview.

We are looking for the following Staff Roles prior to opening whilst we put together the last finishing touches to our building:

  • Assistant Staff.

The Assistant will act as Receptionist at front desk. He/she will attend to walk in/scheduled patients and be of assistance to new comers in aid of any inquires. He/she will also set up appointments for Patients.

  • Care Givers.

A Care Giver cleans the environment, and assists in-patients with meals. A Care Giver may assist patients only with non-medical inquiries in relation to the clinic operations.

  • Security.

Security manages keeping the clinic a peaceful safe environment for everyone. They will moderate, eject and ban where and when it is necessary. Keeping record to the Head of Staff towards any incidents.

  • Pharmacists.

Pharmacist's will assist patients only. He/she will assist towards prescriptions provided from this clinic, or any other clinic also. All prescriptions from this clinic/other clinics must be verified with the patients doctor/practitioner prior and will be the Pharmacists job to make sure that is reviewed/confirmed.

  • Registered Nurses.

Nurses can recommend over the counter medication and provide advise in aid of a patients health circumstances. A Nurse will also assist a Nurse Practitioner.

  • Practitioner Nurses.

An NP also known as Nurse Practitioner may treat patients solo, diagnose and prescribe/treat patients with any necessary medication and treatment procedures/plan.

  • Therapists.

A therapist usually with the maximum of 25 weeks per patient dependent on the patients mental health, will be in aid of counselling a patient. If it is felt that medication is needed such as anti depressants they will refer a patient to an NP scheduling an appointment for them.

Just a little extra information:

If you are in medical school you may apply as Intern for experience and then apply for Nurse or Nurse Practitioner once you have completed your studies. This is also paid work, but you will need to be under supervision from an NP as a condition and take instruction from the NP mentoring you. You can not work solo as an Intern. This role consists of shadowing, and when it's felt you are ready you may treat patients for minor injuries/illness under supervision. - To get to this step you must have completed at least 8 hours in total of shadowing at least two check up appointments.

As mentioned just last month, a new unique, peaceful, friendly atmospheric Health Clinic is being built - it is almost finished hurray!

We are looking to open during February latest as an estimate - possibly sooner with the right amount of staff. Thank you for the amazing amount of applicants already! We really appreciate your interest and look forward to contacting you very soon! Please continue to keep watch of your IM, we'll be sending out note cards inviting applicants for an interview very shortly! - Before the clinic opens up to the public.

We are in need of some more Medical Staff however. Though its great we have got the rest covered for sure! If you are interested &/or have experience in being a RN or NP &/or have just completed your medical studies, please feel free to join our team! We'll provide you all the guidance and support needed to help you get set up with hours that work around your schedule ready and prepared for work when we open. We have a requirement that 6 hours at the least are met during a week unless there is notice prior that you need time off. Your schedule is up to you! It can change from times/days of the week, each week if you want it too. You choose by putting into an online system we have for your hours. Then you will get paid an hourly rate for those hours &/or more you may put in aswell. We pay all Staff on a Sunday with a time clock you will be logging into which will record all the hours you are putting in - as long as you're not needing to be afk/away of course.

Here is a very basic description of the roles, should you be invited for an interview you will be invited to join an exclusive blog/website with a lot more information on everything you need to know, along with time for questions through your application &/or your interview.

We're very close to opening! We just to continue building up our staff team a bit more. If you are interested in the following Roles, love RP, caring about others and working within a friendly team in the medical service community then apply!

It's worth noting the therapy being offered here is NOT strictly limited to RP.   According to the owner, people are encouraged, if they want, to apparently discuss their real life problems with "therapists" who are paid to listen and advise them. 

I'm relatively new here so I'm not sure of LL's stance on this as a service and not an RP endeavor, but it makes me quite nervous.  I like the idea of  therapy role-play myself as a creative writing adventure.  It's a chance for me to be creative without having to write treatment plans, clinical summaries, and deal with insurance companies, but I fear people in real distress could be harmed if they pay for a service like "therapy" from people who are not therapists.

Medical services are obviously role-played since the person behind the computer screen doesn't really swallow the pill, get the shot, etc.  Therapy's a different animal altogether.  Anyone know if there are policies on this?

Thank you for your interest towards joining our Staff Team. Listed is some basic information about the Staff Positions available and a link to our Application.

○ What is Tranquillity Health Clinic?

Tranquillity Health Clinic is a Therapy and Learning Centre in aid of awareness and support for mental health. We offer a set of packages, and/or single service. We also offer In-Patient Care packages to which patients may have their own In-Patient fully furnished apartment and 100 Prim use.

We provide free discussions and events in our Events Building for anyone to attend. Where Therapists or Guest Speakers (please ask for a separate application) can talk openly about mental health in a private space as support, awareness and self help tips. What discussions are held is up to the host within reason, and they will be enabled to log into a Tip Jar.

Over all, our goal is to be of support, help and awareness in aid of mental health.

○ Our Job Positions and Description.

Assistant Staff: Assistant Staff will work at Reception as a Receptionist for the most part. They will greet and assist any visitors and/or patients. They will also book in patients for any of the therapy services we provide via our Therapists. Assistant Staff may also assist Guest Speakers/Therapists during their discussions in aid of keeping track of questions and comments the audience may have.

Event Manager: Event Managers will be in charge of events/discussions helping our Guest Speakers/Therapists be set up towards hosting their own events in our event/learning section of the Clinic. The Application will be sent straight to our Head of Staff to be sent in-world to an Event Manager available to work with that applicant. They will organise and advertise the event/discussion for the Guest Speaker/Therapist and attend the Event in aid of support/security during. They are responsible to make sure events/discussions go ahead and run smoothly.

Security: Security will be the main source of moderation within the clinic. They will make sure the clinic is safe, peaceful and have management in behaviour of visitors at all times. 

Therapist: Therapists work in a choice of 9 offices within the clinic (or apartment for In-Patient Clients) in aid of Patient Therapy Services via CBT or Talking Therapy. They may specialise in certain areas of mental health if they wish.
