TV issues

Hi! I am having an issue using my tv in world. I keep seeing the message "this plugin not supported" ... I know I had this issue in the past and it was I believe due to the version of flash I was downloading but I don't remember any of the specifics. Can anyone assist?

I haven't used a TV in SL for about a decade, but I do remember reading that you have to have the Chrome version of Flash installed. (The viewer uses Google's web toolkit now.)

As a totally useless aside, Adobe announced that Flash will reach end-of-life at the end of 2020. It'll be fading away fast as developers go to modern formats.

I don't use Chrome; that would from my understanding only be for those that use it.

Flash Player, not browser. CEF is Chromium Embedded Framework. See http://wiki.phoenixviewer.com/fs_media#flash

Note to avoid the sneaky additional downloads from Adobe.

I kicked Flash out a few years ago and got rid of that garbage.

The MOAP TV I made lately didn't have problems though. Youtube and some random tests worked - but I made no field tests - so I may have missed certain content.
