0 Lindal Kidd
No, I am not serious! I was joking. And I have no serious answers for you, at least not yet. Can you post a picture of the problem?
0 LittleMe Jewell
I commented on your other post: First thing I'd do is relog. Sometimes things get odd in SL. If that is a no go, clearing your texture cache can possibly fix it, cince it would seem to be a texture issue. Also, pulling out a new copy of the body itself might take care of the problem. 0 OptimoMaximo
Most likely your viewer is failing to load the appropriate LoD model for the current view distance. Lower LoD meshes are a simplified version of the full model, including the UV maps. If poorly made, these reduced complexity UV maps might end up too close to a texture border, showing the black background that separates the UV shells. When it happens to my avatar, right clicking to edit forces a reload, most of the times. If this is no avail, next thing i try is to detach it and wear it again. As last resort i do a relog with cache clearing, but this is quite rare in my case.
