Can anyone direct me to some creators of nail polish appliers?

I don't want them to look like wallpaper. Nothing sparkly. No holiday motifs.

Just a good assortment of solid colored polish such as those by Chanel, Essie, Opi, Zoya,  etc.

Alme had some nice ones out at the Shop & Hop event. I picked up several there. I opted for colours that are darker and shinier, but they had others that may work for you. One example - Chrome Trends:

Also, look at Odd-Eyed Cat, who have some gorgeous glossy nails. This is their Tabitha set:

(Granted, I tend to buy mainly Slink, so I'm not sure about their options for other mesh bodies, but definitely worth a look for both of those stores.)

Thanks Skell.  I like the darker tones personally. Trying to find something matte.  Favorite all time is Chanel's "Vamp". I wore it for an entire year more or less when it came out.

I'll take a look at each of those stores

Alaskametro makes some solid colors.

 

Zoz is probably too busy but they are worth mentioning.

And it is always worth mentioning that you can get the nails applier kit for free and play with making your own custom nail polish.

This stuck with me as I haven't really seen any either. However, the Saturday Sale has 2 sets of matte nails at Alme for Belleza, Maitreya, Omega, Slink, Tuty, Vista!

[Encore] has a Shades fatpack with tons of simple, solid colors. I use them quite often. 

ETA: reading first, the ones I mentioned aren't matte. I do like them, though. Also seconding alaskametro.

Slackgirl has lots of options plus some great free bento sets for group members. Pink Hustler (or the nail store next door) is good too. And check out Cazimi too!
