Release land?

The abandon land tab is grayed out for me too.

While your problem may be similar to the multiple different ones mentioned in this old thread, we won't know for sure until you provide some specifics:

- Are you talking about a Linden Home or regular Mainland or a Private Region?

- Are you using the official LL viewer for SL or a third party viewer (Firestorm, Catznip, etc...)?

- Do you actually OWN the land yourself or does a Group own it?  If a Group owns the land, do you have the permissions in the group to Abandon the land.

Best way to answer the above questions, giving us all pertinent info/details is to bring up the About Land window and paste a screen shot of it here.

1. Choose World > About Land and click the General tab.
2. Click Abandon Land. After confirming, the land is removed from your account
3. Viewer 2.0 click on the info tab where the land name is at top of your screen. Then go to the side panel where you see the land info and then chose About land. You may have to scroll down a little with the side panel window
