I tried to age verify myself twice, and it said that I was but nothing has happened.

The first time I tried, I waited a day patiently for a few of my friends said that it could take days to weeks. However, I highly doubted that. So, tonight I tried again. Both times it said that I was sucessfully age verified. Nothing has happened yet though. I tried going into edit > preferences > general and check there, but it still only says "PG content only". Is there something wrong?

PG content only would indicate that you are under 18 years old.  If you are over 18 then you need to open a ticket.  A basic account for someone over 18 without age verification is PG and Mature.  Age verification allows for Adult.  So if you are listed for PG only, somehow LL has you as under 18

Something maybe needless but maybe it will help you. Did you try to change the option into your preferences choosing "i want to access content rated PG, Mature and Adult" --> OK ?

The system for residents that join before their 18 birthday and the subsequently turn 18 is still being implemented and should be finished in a week or so, after that it will all be automated, but for now its a bit of a mess.

You need to submit a ticket in the Account Issue category https://support.secondlife.com/create-case/  there is not a specific one so, get to the point really quickly in your text that you have turned 18 and been age verified but you cannot change your maturity rating. Hopefully you avoid getting the response that manual verification is not supported for basic members.

If they do try to fob you off, submit it again.

Yes, I've tried this after every time I successfully age verified myself. I'd log back on and that's the first thing I check. No luck. /= Thanks though.

I would definately go for one in Account Issues, try the web login one, you really just need them to open the ticket and see right away what your real problem is.

 

If they do reject it, come back and post here.
