workflow for substance painter & second life you wil need blender 2.7.8 wont work with any other one and you will need this plugin https://raw.githubusercontent.com/varkenvarken/blenderaddons/master/nodeset.py just right click and save it as do all your basic stuff uv map your mesh but dont bake it no need inless you just want to export as dea open up substance-painter click on new you will need to use template pbr metallic roughness then select your mesh and set normal map format to opengl click ok then go over to your texture set settings panel click on bake deselect world space normal id and position set your output file size and hit bake after it bakes do your painting or use smart material by dragging it to your layer panel when all done do not bake your textures instead export the texture set  file export textures make sure its set to  pbr metal rough after that open blender and go to cycles open the node editor install the plugin from the link above then go to add in the node editor texture image texture set go to wherever you saved your texture at and select the base it will load a simple plug and play node just plug in to the right slots and render your mesh or just bake it without rendering but you wont get a good result if you do  remember higher sample rate means better texture:D  now your all done as a side note substance painter saves height maps spec and normal maps if you have a use for them this is a pic of a mesh i done using this method  hope this helps someone
