Attempting to change the texture of a feral avatar

It shows in the little texture box as a preview but as soon as I set to apply it never shows up. I've tried this a million times. Either there is something I'm doing wrong despite doing this plenty of times, or there is something wrong with the texture mod I bought and I have no idea how to fix it. Any help would be appreciated.

did you ask the seller .. or creator... or in a support group

with the description you give now only a insider will understand what you mean.

Which feral is it? I'm curious, as most come with their own variations of textures but I was not aware of any that allowed you to change it to "custom" textures.

I'm afraid I don't understand what you are trying to do, any more than Alwin and Love do.  What "little texture box" are you talking about? Surely not the "little texture box" in the editor in your viewer?  Is there one in the HUD that came with your avatar, maybe?  And you bought a "texture mod"? A kit of some kind?  With instructions?

To put this in the context of something I DO understand: I have a few mesh lion ferals (I'm not a big fan, most of my avatars are non-mesh).  These mesh ferals come with a HUD that allows you to change the texture - but they are really changing the texture and animations at the same time, usually.  In some cases, they may be "turning on" your "bits and bobs". In other cases, they may be changing your "features" (mane/no mane, etc.).  I don't have one that lets you completely change the feral texture. So yes, I was a BIT confused. 

If your cases is one of those I listed, perhaps the scripts in your avatar just aren't "on" or listening to the scripts in your HUD. Or, the scripts in your HUD are not "running" and need to reset.

Just ideas.
