My avatar turned into a white egg. Meaning I can't see it anymore. How can I fix it?

My Avatar turned into an egg how can I fix it so I an see myself again? It was two weeks old.

Create a folder, name it something easy to find so you can always keep it in your inventory for future use, like Normal Me or whatever.
Put a copy of your usual basic components in there...Skin, shape, eyes, hair (including bald base) & a basic shirt and pair of pants.
Right click on the folder and select REPLACE

or

Go to your Library Clothing folder & drag one of the avatar folders on to your avvie.

or

Reset your avvie to default, depending which viewer you are using this is done here:
Advanced Menu >>Character>>Character Tests >> Test Male (or Female)

Developers Menu (ctrl alt Q)>>Avatar>>Character Tests>>Test Male (or Female)

Click on the Advanced Menu at the top of your screen. If you dont see it press Ctrl+alt+D --> Debug settings --> RenderUnloaded Avatar --> Set it to "True" --> click X to close the window. Relog

Now you dont see you like a cloud but others continue to see you this way. They must to change their setting for that also.

If it is not working and you see that you still can not load, open the 2nd tab of your inventory (called recent in viewer 2) and wait  ALL your items to load. After try to change outfit.

The last solution is to move in other region with less lag and to repeat the same process.

RenderUnloadedAvatar is great if the avatar is loaded but one person cannot see it.. However if the avatar is really unloaded, it does not load the avatar & fix the problem, it merely makes you see it like an avatar while it is still unloaded, often you see it as Ruth instead of a cloud.

I found a very very simple solution that seems to work most times.  Right mouse click on yourself (your AV) and choose APPEARANCE.  After your AV goes into appearance, it's safe to exit out back to normal.  So all you do is jump in and out of Appearance. Simple step.  Then you should see yourself.

@ shyannedianne, Try the solutions suggested on this thread & if they don`t fix you then you can always go to http://community.secondlife.com/t5/Answers/qac-p/Answers and start your own question. If you say what you have already tried you won`t get the same suggestions again.

I had the same problem, using Viewer 2. I went into the inventory and tried removing everything that I thought had a script e.g.. Ass, to reduce the number of bytes that the avatar was drawing, thinking that this was the problem.  That didn't work.  Then I downloaded and installed the Phoenix viewer.  That worked, and I can now see my avatar OK.  However, the downside is that with Phoenix a lot of times the rest of the environment doesn't rezz very quickly or at all, whereas I had the reverse situation with Viewer 2, where I could see everything except my avatar.

hi everyone i found simple thing that let you see your avatar and it always works

1-you must learn your skin and you shape and your cloth name because we will need to remove the clothes

2-you found in your left side things you will found a cloth shape click on it

3-choose any skin from this place

4-then you will see yourself then wear back your original shape and skin and clothes

i cchanged my appearance to an any avatar suggested like a vampire or an animal then you'll be able to see yourself
