Banner for Marketplace Store

Ok.  I tried to upload a photo for a banner.  Way too large.  Said it needs to be EXACTLY 700 pixels by 100 pixels.  I have photoshop and found the area where you can change the size into pixels.  

Well, photoshop will not let me change the photo exactly into 700 pixels by 100 pixels.  When I put the number 700 pixels, it seems to have it's own number it wants for the other part, such as I got 700 by 258.

So, in short, how do I make a banner for Marketplace store?

My photoshop thing doesn't seem to work.  Like I said, if I put 700 in, it sets the other number and won't let me put in 100.

So, unlink the height and width settings from each other.  Just click the little link symbol between them so you can change them independently.

Or, create your banner initially with the 700 x 100 dimensions so that you don't have to stretch it out of shape. Either approach will work.

When you resize an image in PS there is an option in the dialog to hold the proportions. Disable the option.

In Photoshop you can set the canvas size. Then redo the image to get the best looking 700x100 image.
