problem with opening the program

i download the second life viewer and when it is said "intilizing vfs" comes out an eror window that said that my video card driver did not install proparlly or up to date. 

what can i do? pleas help me

Have you updated your drivers properly? Could you give us some information about your video card?

If you are using a fairly new card, and Second Life is not recognizing it, this link may help you

i steel can't open the sl viewer2 i download the storm1000 and without sucssed. i don't understand on computers what is means my video card? how can i know what video card i have?

Hi taltoul,

Go to your Start menu and right-click on "My Computer" (or Computer) go to Properties and then to the Device Manager. The name of your graphics card will show in Display adapters.

To download the latest drivers go to the manufaturers website:

For NVidia -http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us

That Intel GMA500 would appear to be your problem,  I have it from a reliable source (mentioning no names, but kudos to you Nyll hehe) that you won`t be able to successfully run SL with that.

Checkout this old post: http://forums-archive.secondlife.com/111/ba/361744/1.html  you may be able to get SL to open if you instal the drivers shown there, but the quality you will get will probably not make it enjoyable.
