Deleting account

How can I do this entirely? Also it says cancellation pending, what does that mean? that it's going to take time for it to be deleted?

But..for the love of gosh PLEASE DO NOT tell me I'm going to regret it when answering this! I was taken advantage of by MANY PEOPLE while I had moderate depression on here, I WILL NEVER REGRET LEAVING!

The cancellation process takes a bit of time.  If you haven clicked the button, it really will happen.  If you were a Premium member, then your account will actually stay active until you current Premium time period expires.

Thus, since it says it is 'pending', it is in progress.  Click the big X in the upper right corner and go on with your life.

To be perfectly clear, the reason that a cancellation of a Premium account takes time that your Premium account is prepaid.  When you indicate that you intend to cancel, that means that your account will close at the end of the period that you have already paid for. Until then, it is "pending."  It's just like cancelling almost any other service (a magazine subscription, or a newspaper, ....).  You don't get a refund; you just get what you paid for and nothing beyond that when it stops.
