Can't get a Linden Home with Premium Account

Question

I recently tried to get a Linden Home and it won't let me. It keeps saying I need to update my account. I have looked over my account and everything is right. I can buy Lindens and get a bill to have an account no problems. But I can't get a Linden Home. I'm not sure who to ask or how to fix it. Any suggestions?

If you are Premium, you can even use Live Chat:

Yeah that why I edited my post earlier.  Things seemed a little funky and I got a bad gateway error with the first link I put to live chat so went for one that was working when I answered  It might be ok now, fingers crossed

Also another silly question ....  How did you "look over your account"?  Did you go to your dashboard at secondlife.com and look under the Account settings?

You don't need to have a Premium account to buy L$.  All you need to do is register a payment method. You have been a member longer than I have, so I would be very surprised if you hadn't done that years ago.

well that's pretty clear.  You haven't updated your billing info.  

 go to the website, www.secondlife.com   log in  then Account - Billing Information and make sure its up to date

Well, then, there's your answer. You don't have a valid payment method on file, so your account is overdue.  Maybe you registered with a debit card or a prepaid card of some kind?  Or maybe you didn't finish getting your PayPal account verified?
