Payment Methods???

So I wanna start a store, but I need to add a payment method. I have no credit/debit or any other means of paying. So my question is why can't SL make us pay linden for a store instead of using HEADACHE INDUCING payment methods?!

Linden Lab doesn't charge anything for creating your own Marketplace store.  However, they require a payment METHOD for a couple of reasons.

• It's a legal proof of your Real Life identity.  This will become important if, for example, you avail yourself of the Digital Millenium Copyright Act (DMCA) to protect your creations, or in the event someone lays a DMCA complaint against you.
• You'll need it if you ever want to convert $L profits from your sales into real world currency and transfer it out of SL to your bank account.

Every adult in our modern world needs to establish credit.  If you currently have no credit or debit card, open a checking account with a local bank, and speak to them about getting a low-limit card.  Once you have a bank account, you can also make a PayPal or Skrill account on line, verify it (link it to your bank account or card) and then use it as a payment method for SL.
