Tieranan Posted October 25, 2017 Share Posted October 25, 2017 Is there anybody else using Modo Indie for mesh creation? I’m having a terrible time getting a reasonable workflow going... Currently, I export to OBJ, use FBX Converter to convert to FBX, then convert the FBX to Collada format. Passing through OBJ format of course loses information, but that’s the only way I’ve found to get to Collada format :-( FBX Converter can’t convert an FBX exported from Modo directly. Tieranan Posted October 27, 2017 Author Share Posted October 27, 2017 So I’ve seen tutorials on YouTube using Modo, but I don’t know if any of those creators are using the indie version as opposed to the full version (which natively supports export to Collada). Im getting ready to abandon Modo (which I love) and look for other, more workable, alternatives.
