LukeLoveless
I've been wondering recently if there's and need or interest in emoting classes and even voice emoting classes for dancers, escorts, and anyone just interested in learning how to emote better. I know some clubs have had classes for the dancers and things like that. Please let me know what you think about it!
Tex Monday
I think they might be worth it if you've never done any emoting before. If this isn't your first club and you know what you're doing, they're kind of worthless. You can pick up more from listening to other dancers and feeding off the clients...seeing what they like and what they want from you.
Anna Nova
As long as you teach them to emote in chat. Damned selfish to emote in IM. How can the rest of us laugh at you if you emote in IM, fer pete's sake...

Insane concept, who the hell can reliably be said to be qualified to teach such a thing? You want emoting lessons... /me emotes at you... There, class concluded, anything else is a matter of personal preference (or personal pretensions). As for "Voice Emoting", thats called voice over acting, you study that offline in RL, if at all. Solar Legion
Having hit up a few clubs during my time in SL and working at one or two as well I have to say that while it would be a nice change of pace to see employed or freelance/patron dancers and the like actually put a bit of effort into emoting, you run into the issue of personal preference versus the expectations of the crowd - if any such expectations exist. We've already seen two very good examples of the sort of mindset some have when it comes to emoting by posters in this very thread.
