Desperately need help with my Avi!

Hello people!  

 I’m not sure if I’m in the right place to be asking this question, I dont think I ever have posted in the community forms, so forgive me if I’m not.

Ive been on SL for almost 10 years between forgetting accounts, taking breaks and coming back, etc.. 

Since coming back I’ve had a certain look in mind that I’ve literally been dying to achieve but no matter how many hours I spend browsing shapes and tweaking around my avatar I just can’t figured it out.

Not sure why but I’m really obsessing over and yearning for this certain look with a button looking nose and some pouty lips (also a little bit parted in the middle)... I’m not even sure exactly what to call it but it absoluelty drives me crazy everyday I spend on SL that I just have this look in my head and can’t figure out how to perfectly portray it on my avi! 

I currently have a maitreya Lara mesh body and a Catwa Cataya bento head. I’m going to post a picture in reference of what this ideal look looks like just so I don’t sound like a total fool trying to explain it and not making any sense, lol.

Any tips, tricks, suggestions, pointers and suggested shapes that have this look would be so greatly appreciated. Please reply if you can help me!

That should not be too hard to achieve if you use a mesh head.  See these two resources for product reviews:

The hair might be a little harder, but try D!va.  Her styles have that "a few fine strands flying away" look.

Linal, thank you for your reply, I’m not looking for the full look in the picture I’m just simply looking for the face shape, or how to achieve that nose and lips shape!

The little bit parted in the middle (lips) is a function of the heads (at least my Lelutka has that). Much of the rest of the look while partly dependent on the  mesh head you choose had MUCH to do with the underlying shape (assuming you have a Bento head). So playing around with the shape sliders should get you that look. As mentioned, it really shouldn't be that difficult to achieve. That said, understanding what those shape sliders DO takes some time and experimentation. 

Just keep at it and remember that perfection really isn't all its cracked up to be :D.
