Jerilynn Lemon
I understand this might be considered off topic, but in light of the music some here have been brought up on or acquired through the years, I wish to bid Tom Petty a heartfelt good bye and to thank him for all the hours of musical pleasure he provided us Baby boomers and others. It may come off a bit cliche, but we are losing some of the best musicians and songwriters ever to grace our stereos and airwaves. From his days as a Mudcrutch to his Heartbreakers and Wilbury days and his solo work helped his fans escape the drudgery of everyday life and deeply immense themselves to that far away land called the imagination. He may be gone, but he still lives with us along the ways of Jim Morrison, John Lennon, Glen Frey and Jimi Hendrix, to name a few. Thank you Tom. Say hello to Roy and George for us.
