I have a MAC and not able to log on SL .. I'm using Viewer 2 can someone help me?

Perhaps just a bad installation, try uninstalling it and downloading again.

Phoenix is based on the 1.23 viewer, they have a new one called Firestorm based on the viewer 2 format, you could try that one and see if you have the same problem with all v2 viewers.

Could it be the winmm.dll file causing it ? I read from other issues this was one of the solutions because something about you only need one. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling it. That is not working....

Not trying to point out the obvious but...did you install the Mac version ? It could also be some bad files.  Try uninstalling your viewer completely,  then download fresh so get a clean start

I do not know enough about Macs to say that it couldn`t be that file, I have only seen it in windows installations where it gives the specific error "The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000142). Click on OK to terminate the application."

 

Thats doesn`t mean that it wouldn`t give a different error on a Mac & still be the same problem, you would have to find out if Macs actually use dll files & if the same problem could even happen, because on Windows that particular file already exists in the System32 folder which you wouldn`t have on a Mac.

It may depend on whether you have a new enough Mac. I can't use Viewer 2 with my TiBook either, so I still use version 1.23.x
