Klytyna wasn't trying to be rude, she was giving you honest and direct feedback. If something is purchased with fraudulent funds, how is it you expect to be paid for those goods? If a customer purchases product with either a stolen credit card (online or in-store) or with fraudulent bills, that becomes a loss for the retailer. The same basic principle applies here.

Based on the very limited information you did provide, the story just doesn't seem to add up. With that said, you don't have to take anyone's word for it, you can of course contact an attorney for yourself and see what they recommend.
