Bento Poses for Beginners

I've made my own poses for personal use years ago, before Bento was a thing. I really like the added level of expression Bento poses can offer (primarily in the hands, of course).

 

However I've been out of the "game" so to speak for well over three years, and I see people using much different methods to make their poses now. All the tutorials I've found have been dated, or don't cover the information I'm looking for. 

 

Does anyone have a link for a beginner on making poses with the new bento tech? I am familiar with most programs used to animate, and have access to these as well. I more-so need help with the SL specifics. Any help is greatly appreciated!
