Thin mulitcolored line glitch across screen

Hi I returned to SL after a hiatus and with the only choice for a computer having AMD graphics card. When I log in there's a angled, thin line of multiple colors for about a third of the screen that acts somewhat like an attachment on a hud point as far as perspective is concerned. I've tried both the official viewer and Firestorm and 2 different accounts and in both, it shows up. I hope that I don't need a new video card, it was my only option when I arranged to set up payments. Hope someone out there has a setting or something that I can adjust for the graphics card or SL either one to get rid of it. Here's the info from the help menu relevant to this situation. This is a known bug with certain AMD graphics cards.
AMD fixed the bug in the Radeon Crimson Relive 17.3.1 drivers, so if you update your graphics driver, it should be fixed.

Thank you so very much Whirly. That fixed things tho updating AMD stuff is like going to the nutsville circus. LOL
