for some reason my side bar isnt showing up, so i dont know how to change the apearnce of my avatar

If you're using Viewer 2 you may have logged in using the Basic mode. At the Login screen you can switch to the Advanced mode.

 

I use the previous Viewer, previous sounds better than old, like in generations. When I eventually conform, I will know everything.
