Anyone having trouble teleporting?

Lately, for some reason, I'll try to attempt a teleport (anywhere) and I get a slow crawl on the progress bar followed by an ejection.

Anyone else having this problem?

Some tips for teleport problems:

• Lighten up.  Remove HUDs.  Remove other items that have a lot of scripts in them.  Remove high complexity items (jewelry is notorious for being high complexity).
• Trim your inventory.  Huge inventories can slow down teleports.  "Huge" is a relative term, but I start to see a significant effect at levels above 30 - 40,000 or so.
• Trim your Friends list.  If you have more than a couple of hundred friends, you may start to notice your teleports getting less reliable
• Trim your Groups.  I have not verified this, but it stands to reason that having a lot of groups adds to the information that has to be transferred between servers when you teleport.
• Get high.  No, no, not like that!  Fly up to some altitude above 1,000 m where there's less lag, and teleport from there.
• Check your internet connection.  You need a reliable internet connection for SL, especially when physically crossing region boundaries or teleporting.  See this article: http://blog.nalates.net/2011/10/26/troubleshoot-your-sl-connection/

No, but it's not uncommon to have teleport issues.  Teleportation, especially between regions, involves a lot of data transfer and that means that the servers have to do a lot of work. Yes, I had this happen a couple of days ago.  First time in a very long while.  Re-logging fixed the problem, in my case.

For the past 3-4 days, around 60% of my teleports get stuck at the progress bar slowly moving and result in a crash for some reason. So when I decide to teleport somewhere, I mentally prepare myself for a crash. Hopefully it will get better.

Teleports are especially sensitive to script load. Everything else Lindal points to is secondary.

There have been some server issues with some regions not making good backend connections. So, you may find the slow teleport problem specific to certain regions. Tuesday and Wednesday restarts shuffle the deck. So, the problem may appear on different regions or disappear.
