Where did my stuff go?

I know I had a lot of stuff the last time I logged in (can't remember but it wasn't that long ago) and now everything is gone like I just started my account is there anything that can be done? If not why and if so when?

No fear.  Stuff doesn't usually disappear.  It's safely in your inventory.  The problem is that your inventory is in the Linden Lab servers and your viewer can't reach it at the moment.  You viewer actually uses a locally cached copy of your inventory that is supposed to be refreshed as you log in.  If you have an unreliable Internet connection, though, the download during login can fail, or be corrupted.  The trick is to force the system to download it again.  Here's how >>> http://wiki.phoenixviewer.com/fs_cache_clear

If this happens often you should do something about your Internet.  Getting off wifi is a good first step.  Then reboot your router and modem.

Not only do I not have my stuff but I don't have my L$ either.  Like I said everything is like I just started the game and I tried doing that and the steps seem confusting to me.

If your L$ are missing, it sounds like maybe your account has been compromised in some way.  Did you give your password to anyone or click a link somewhere that asked for your password details?
