amywilders
Hi! I have created a group for my parcel and my role have the ability to freeze and eject other residents. I have tried to use both abilities on my ALT, but nothing happens to her. She could still type in chat, move around and touch things and that puzzles me. First of all, what can I and the target expect to experience when I try to freeze/eject a resident on my parcel? Secondly, does anyone have a hint on why those abilities doesn't work on my parcel? (I'm using Firestorm 5.0.7) Thanks/Amy Edited August 6, 2017 by amywilders Typo's
Jerilynn Lemon
The freeze/eject ability's are dictated by the World>Nearby Avatars menu (upper edge of Firestorm). Find the one you wish to eject or freeze on the nearby list, right click and a menu should open giving you options. What you can expect is what the names say. Freeze just "freezes" the avatar in place. It's good if the avatar is running from you and you want it to stop. Eject will boot the avatar from your parcel, but they will land on/in an adjoining area. Double check that you have given yourself the permission to eject others in the groups permission page. amywilders
Jerilynn: Thanks for explaining the functions. Alwin: I think you nailed why it didn't work for me. Thanks a lot. /Amy
