It's nearly impossible for anyone to "rob" you unless you have somehow given the person access to your account by sharing your password.  As in any other place on the Internet, you should watch for phishing exploits or other scams that ask you to click on something that gives permission to take money.  Know who you are dealing with and why you are giving permission.  And, of course, NEVER tell anyone else your password, including your best friend or your Mom.  If you have checked your Transaction History (on your dashboard at secondlife.com >>> Account) and you believe that you have been the victim of a theft, follow these instructions immediately >>> http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Linden_Lab_Official:Account_Security
