Question

Hai Guyz,

Just now, I was cleaning out my inventory, and decided to wear what I thought was a coupon. Suddenly, I lost 3,000L to a deleted account <Moderator Redacted>.  Is there a way to recover the money?

File a support ticket at https://support.secondlife.com/create-case/ & explain what happened & ask if it's possible to get the L$ returned.
In this case I feel you have a good chance of a refund - that account looks banned already so the L$ should still be sitting on that account & in cases where people get scammed by those debit permissions scam bots, LL do often return the L$ to the victim.

in spite of warnings everywhere, all the time, and over and over again, you accepted a scripted item from a scammer.

And you clicked "yes" to give the object permissions to debit/credit your account while you don't know the source.

You can try a AR, but i doubt if you will get your money back ... it might float in the dark dungeons of LL servers till the plug is pulled out.

This is good to know.

While you are correct that she had to click Accept to give the object permission to take money from her account, it's possible she didn't do it THIS time.  If she had previously given this permission (perhaps when she had no money), took the item back into inventory, and then rezzed it again, it could then take her money.  These objects, once given permission, can take money from your account at any time they are rezzed in world.
