My SL viewer 2.6.2. isn't working properly!! :(

my SL viewer isnt working the way it's supposed to...what do i do?

i un-installed then re-installed it but it keeps doing the same thing, when  i ever i log in it doesn't show the screen correctly & it keeps crashing :s  & the viewer looks different than it used to looks like an older version even though i've download the newer one...:(

help please :s

I would try to remove all traces of the last viewer on your computer e.g., do a complete and comprehensive un-install of all the files associated with your viewer.  Then reinstall the new viewer.

Looks different in what way?

Are you using the Basic mode?

Logout and change to Advanced mode on the login screen.

You have to do more than just uninstall the viewer.  You  need to delete your cache files.  Search for a folder named Second Life and delete it.  Remember that any chat logs you have created will be deleted as well unless you move them to another folder.  Once you have performed a fresh install, you can move the chat logs back to their proper place.
