Not unless you saved the notecard.  What you've done is like typing something in your word processor and then shutting it down without saving the file.  If you saved it, of course, it's somewhere in your inventory.  Open its Recent tab and scroll back a few days, looking at everything you have added.

Anytime I'm typing something semi-lengthy into an SL notecard or various forums or social sites, I will often type it first into a separate document, preferably something with an auto-save function.  After I've got it worded and formatted the way I want, moving sentences and paragraphs around, etc..., I'll then copy/paste into wherever I originally wanted it.  Viewers and websites crash sometimes, whereas my computer almost never crashes.
