Image failed to upload to your profile error keeps showing

Question

Hi all, Im trying to upload an image to my profile feed, but no picture is working, it keeps showing this error "failed to upload image to your profile" no matter how many retakes or how many times i try to reupload it, i am using second life viewer if thats of any significance.

Any help?

I think that function has been broken for years now.

In any case, the best way to update your profile picture is to save it to ahrddisk, then log on to https://my.secondlife.com/ and do it there. That'll save you the upload fee too.

If you are trying to load it as a new Profile picture, then ChinRey's method will work.  If you are just trying to add it to your Feed, that process is broke.  It works for some people some of the time and not at all for others.  Best suggestion -- start a flickr account and upload to there instead.

Uploading images to your profile feed has been broken for months my youngest alt was able to upload an image within the last week i tried to upload one yesterday and it just wasn't happening i was getting the same error still, looked at my feed and the last time i was able to get a pic up was 4 months ago, btw i use Firestorm so it's not a viewer specific issue
