Club Tip Jar Glitch?

Hello,

I just recently began having an issue with the tip jars in one of the clubs I am employed at in SL.  For the past several days, when I click on a tip jar, nothing happens.  I have also attempted to right click and use the "Touch" option.  It gives me no error, nothing, but the menu that would allow me to log in simply does not appear.  I have tried "Tex Refresh," deactivating and reactivating groups/titles., clearing my cache, using various tip jars in the room including floating jars. re-downloading the original Viewer, and even switching Viewers between the original and Firestorm.  Strangely, when I go to other regions with clubs and tip jars, I click, and the menu pops up normally.  Does anyone have any other advice?  Thanks so much in advance! ღ

Yes let the owner of the jar know, it sounds like something he or she needs to fix.

I agree.  Either the jar 's script has stalled or you are not on its whitelist as an authorized user.

Well, the strange thing is, other dancers can log in.  It just seems to be me.

Sounds like the owner didn't set it up properly. Also, make sure you have the right group activated when your clicking the jar, as sometimes.. That makes all the difference.

Also, make sure the owner has not inadvertently blocked you.

If you are are getting script error messages. It may be related to this post as LL recently made some server updates.

thats about streams... not very likely it involves tipjars.

Check to see if you have to have a specific group active to use the tip jar.
