Singularity viewer.

My profile, the 1st life section, trying to upload my picture. I can from my computer, and I can see it. However for other people after that, they see only a grey image that says loading. After sign out and back in, the picture is gone.

Any ideas how to get my image to stay?

Thank you.

When I look at your profile I see a red and black symbol picture. Not sure if this is what you want for to see -- if it is old or new.

Two problem with ANY viewer would be that you didn't actually upload the texture before putting it onto your profile screen (dragging or choosing from your inventory) OR you didn't SAVE the new profile on there. So the viewer is trying to find a texture that isn't in the database.

If that isn't the issue, then it could be a Singularity issue and you would need to contact the folks working on that viewer for hints on fixing the problem.

I'm getting a "?" for your Real World Profile Picture. If you're trying to upload an RL image from your computer to your profile through the viewer's built-in web browser, try might try using something external like Firefox, Edge, Chrome, Safari, or whatever. The built in viewer has always been a bit flaky for me.

I know when I have this issue, and I have it kind of alot, due to my tendency to be somewhat skatter brained, it is one of the two issues that Chic mentioned, first the photo isn't actually uploaded to the viewer, it is possible to load a profile picture that you can see directly from you computer without uploading it and paying the 10L fee, First time I tired it I thought hey great I just saved 10L. But no one else can see it, and it will vanish after you log off and log back on. I no longer make that mistake, but I do sometimes forget to save after I use an uploaded image, so the new picture doesn't stick.
