The text features won´t be a problem i think but the 3D will still be "nnnnice" only.

PocketMetaverse stopped updating years back but still as a text-only client it does a nice job.

SecondLife on tables or phones is a joke. Minimap, chat, friendlist, IMs, inventory all that cannot fit nicely on a 7" display.

How well will they run SL via Lumiya?

Sl needs a pretty decent processor, and dedicated graphics to run in a good quality.

It are tools to keep in contact while not being able to be inworld, but nothing more to expect from it.

If you want better quality.. will cost a dime, look at brightcanopy.com

Is Lumiya in the Amazon app store? For quite some time it has not

I don't know the answer to this, so I can only agree that it's the gating question.

As to Lumiya, if the OP was happy with PocketMetaverse, he should be thrilled by Lumiya -- if there's a compatible platform available. And to that point, it may be worth waiting to see if Google announces any relevant hardware, because the Nexus 7 and Pixel C tablets are getting pretty long-in-the-tooth (which may not be motivation enough, the whole tablet market being so diminished these days).

(There's another thread needed about all the Daydream and other VR announcements coming from Google IO this week. Lumiya is the only viewer I know of that's Daydream compatible - at least to some degree - which may end up being significant, given the expected hardware.)

How do I play second life on Amazon tab7

IF  you mean the amazon Fire 7 it's possibly by a 3rd party app you need, and it still will be poor, most likely only a good chatfunction.

SL is meant for medium /high end pc/laptop/mac

Can also have a look at brightcanopy.com
