Inventory items missing

I have items missing from inventory,I know there is a way of getting them back so could you help me please

First things to check / do:  Check your Trash and you Lost & Found folder.  Do a search on one or more of the items to see if they accidentally got dragged into a different location - make sure you are in the main inventory window for the search (as opposed to Recent).  Verify you don't have Filters set that could be obscuring things.   Clear your cache: "Choose Me > Preferences.  Click the Advanced tab. Click Clear Cache. Restart the Viewer."

Note that there have been reports lately of an escalating problem with inventory loss that was NOT retrievable. Good luck!
