Controls Issue and Second Life "Not Responding"

i am having difficulty moving, turning especially, and sometimes keep walking and go further than i want.  also computer screen going black and Second Life "Not Responding" in conjunction with trying to walk and turn.

that's lag, sounds like the connection between you and SL servers  has some problems.
