In the edit window when adding a post, you should see a section at the bottom for attaching a file: If you don't see it, it might be that you have to reach some minimum post count before you can attach pictures. Most people share pictures by posting a link from another site. Many here use Flickr as do I. On the Flickr page is a button that says share, click that and copy the link that pops up. Then paste that link here and your picture will show up. This allows you post pictures of any size. Adding pictures directly has a limit as to the size of the picture.
