This next image shows how the two affect surroundings differently. The old style lights have to be designed to specifically not destroy the ambiance, difficult. ALM = Advanced Lighting Model. On Firestorm: World->Environment Editor->Sky Presets->Edit Preset. You can also create and delete presets from that menu.
