Can you guys tell me what I should do to have a better looking avatar? Kinda hurt my feelings a bit. I don't want to walk a round with an ugly avatar. The biker chic is not my preference, I go more for the Harrison Ford As College Professor look, but that's just personal preference. Sorry you had such a bad experience. You do NOT have to have full mesh avatar, you do not have to conform to others ideas of what you should look like. If you like it, keep it. However, since you said you are new I would imagine you maybe don’t know what that means. When I came back I had the old avatar which back in the day was the norm, but now we have new avatars which are much prettier. The question was what do I do to not be ugly? One, always be kind. This is your SL, do with it what you wanna do! Be a biker, be a duck, be a rocker. Be a hard rocking duck on a Harley. You don't need anyone's approval. You could add on some facial hair if you wish. Not wearing big name brands does not equal ugly. You do not need fancy brands to enjoy SL. The time to upgrade you avatar, (If such time comes at all) will be only when you feel like it. Meanwhile, go explore, talk to people, make friends, learn new skills, admire the great places others have created, in short; do whatever you want and enjoy SL how you see fit.
