Premium membership payments

Question

Ever since I have a premium membership, no matter what amount of USD I have on my account (and I make sure it is enough), they take out all that is on my account for  payment of the membership. Whether I put 10 USD or 20 USD (or more even) onto it, it's gone. From what I understand, the membership fee is about 9.50 USD, a fixed amount. How can it be that no matter what, it's cleared out completely?

That is a very good question, but not one that we can answer.  This is a public forum, and we're all SL residents like you.  We couldn't access your account if we wanted to -- and you definitely wouldn't want that. keep in mind, all you put on your account will be used for every transaction with LL.. including landfees, buying L$

First, check your $USD transactions to see where the money is going.  Do this at Account>Account History/Statements.  Amounts shown in parentheses are amounts paid to you, for example, the proceeds from selling $L.

If you have not taken money out of the account, there should be no "process credit" transactions shown.  If there are, and you didn't do it, then someone else has gotten access to your account.  Immediately follow the instructions here: http://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/Password-and-account-information/ta-p/700017#Section_.5 (What to do if your account has been compromised)

If there are other things about the statement that you don't understand, contact Billing at one of the numbers in Rolig's answer.
